Manning the Incredible Edible Rossendale Stall at the Rawtenstall Annual Fair last weekend - great day - a little warm though!
We have fruit trees and strawberries in a walled garden in the town square - we were also selling fruit cordial made from berries harvested from our showpiece plot in Whitaker Park which is looking fabulous at the moment - pop up there and have a look.
We have recently been working in collaboration with Civic Pride to bring back to life the herb circle in the centre of the town square - new planters and lots of herbs and veg are now looking splendid. I volunteer with both Civic Pride and Incredible Edible and so it is really nice to have the two groups working together to help improve the community public space in the old valley centre.
Selling raffle tickets for Crawshawbooth family fundraising day in aid of new local charity Kids in Rossendale - over £5000 raised - fantastic day!!!
Oh, its that special award time again - who needs the Oscars when we have our very own Valley Superstars!!! Love these guys
